do u experienced ramdom crash for the lastest IE6 patch?

as the time of this post 2003-07-29

it crashed for no reason, no bodement
not even shown up a "send bug report" dialog

"may" relatived to my changes to apache config -- i made use of mod_expires, and set ExpiresByType for images
this is the only change i made recently

i rollbacked the config, and don't get crashed yet
but some users still tell me they will crash sometime.

my posting here just to confirm if any other webmasters have the same issue

What operating system are you using? I have not noticed anything with XP pro service pack 1.

i'm using win2k
got a few crash even not in my own site
without any operation, it suddently crash

one of my friends is using win98, he got more crash than i had

damn! is this the secret way m$ used to force us to upgrade OS?

Do you know what the patch is that is making it crash. I use win2k pro on another machine and I think I have the latest patches and it doesn't crash. After your thread though I really don't want to check if it does make it unstable.

i often catch the patches up2date
i don't remember and not sure, cos it's ramdom crash, and it's fewer now(maybe because i don't have too much time surfing on websites)
