what does IE browser do with non existant domain names.

whenever i type in a non exisiting url like sowhatcanido.org,IE takes me to sowhatcanido.org.com

pretty weird.

i have IE 6.

can you guys check your IE versions and tell me what happens when you type a non exisiting domain.

go into your advanced settings

(Tools > Internet Options > Advanced)

check the 'search from address bar settings'
i set mine to do not search from address bar
