Help with ActiveX alerts

Just placed a applet onto site

Im sorry if this is not the right place, but google forum is my base.

Ive just put an applet onto my site for an effect, when I view my site on browser its all lovely, then when I upload it, it says ActiveX security alert and background isnt the same.

Can someone please advise me of how to switch off the security thingy?

This seems definitly like a Browser and html design issue. If you click here [webmasterworld.com], you can discover a whole new world! ;)

If you are not sure to post in the right forum, it is higly recommended to read the charter first. For instance, the Google News charter [webmasterworld.com] will tell you what is appropriate to post in the Google News forum, and what is not.

We just can't put anything in the Google News forum. Please explore the other parts of WebmasterWorld.

You will certainly find a better audience, and a faster answer, in the appropriate forum...

Hi Louise,

You can control this in your Explorer Security settings.

Tools > Internet Options > Security

Lower your security level will remove this, or a better option may be to choose a Custom Level and tweak to your own liking!

Louise, fixing the issue in your browser isn't going to fix it for visitors who have similar security settings.
