My problem is this, I have a page where I have used a Table to layout the info nicely...

The site is in a set window size and I *prefer* that there be no scrollbar on the right of the entire page, instead there is a "news" section on the main page wich is currently contained in an <iframe>, so it sits nicely below a banner and intro paragraph. I would like to be able to make the news section in its own little scrollable box, but I ALSO want to be able to see the background image under the text! There lies my problem.

Is there any way I can make a Table Cell with a scrollbar on the right side of only that cell? Or perhaps I am overlooking some other very simple answer.

The "newsbox" is currently an <iframe> (I don't like it at all) the layout is what I want, but I want to be able to see my backgrounds behind it.

Well I hope this makes sense! Thanks!

quite easy, place the table in a layer with its overflow set to auto, and give it a fixed height, ie:

<div style="overflow: auto; width: 480px; height: 300; border-left: 1px gray solid; border-bottom: 1px gray solid; padding:0px; margin: 0px">

<table stuff.....
