You can sticky me for the address though you might not share the same configuration to see what I see.
I use a mac and use IE5.
I have noticed this before elsewehere (though it's rare) so i doubt it has anything to do with the SWF format embed. But I am very curious to put a reason to this phenomonem.
For your additional info, I made that site well over 12 months ago. When I seen the error of its ways i rebuilt it using images from the existing site, but still the problem remained......at least on my computer.
thanks...antipodes
1. It is only acting this way on swf embedded files that were made 12mths ago. (strange)
2. It is not acting this way on any other website other than my own holding site.
So, there is no consistency for me to consider a hardware issue. The file(s) in question is not graphic heavy etc., as it is merely a template or one page site at this point. Yes, there is more than one file doing this and curiously they were all made about 12 mnths ago. I use the same program (Flash 4) and have no similar ongoing trouble.
But other ppl apparently are not seeing what I am seeing when they take a look. On my computer it is a complete mess. Even the preloader scene is acting in this way.
I had copied pics from the old site to rebuild a new site but the problem seemed to transfer over.
