any way to 'emulate' other resolutions on a web page?

I was wondering if there was a way to emulate what a page would look like on a 800x600 screen in a browser in a 1024x768 resolution. (Just as an example)

hi kai,

welcome to webmasterworld. you can't emulate this very good, but if you open your page in opera then you can set the zoom to 78% and this will show you the size of your page on a 1024x768 screen proportionally.

is there any way to code that in html?

it's not that I want to view the site as such, as more that I want everone else to be able to view it like that.
