November 26, 2002:
Improved design of layout, including for Validation results.
Added "beefed up" Tip-of-the-Day.

Appears to be the largest update since October 2001.

While you are there, check out the Favlets for the Validator [validator.w3.org]. New features for those wishing to promote standards.

Hmm, I don't like the new validator as much as the old.

I am getting really annoyed that once you have valid code, it no longer display the outline, source or parse information. I might still be revising that stuff even though I have valid code.

Found possibly a few errors in the way it works here and there. Hmmm, I wish the old version was somewhere handy to make direct comparisons with.

Hey there g1smd, glad to see someone noticed this thread! ;)

I'm in agreement with you on the outline, source and parse information. It's there, they've moved some things around and simplified it.

Would Brett's Validator be something that would be of use in your comparison? It is based on a modified version of the W3...
