My flash files are not showing completely in netscape. (AOL, Compuserve). Shows fine in IE5.5.

While I have always known "subtle" differences in netscape html, I'm haveing the damndest time figuring this one out.

Please help.

Thanks

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, hoodedmonk!

My first suggestion is to validate your HTML code with the W3C's HTML validator [validator.w3.org]. Netscape may be tripping over a bit of code that IE forgives.

Since Flash is a plug-in, rather than a browser function, my first suspicions about the source of the problem would go to the HTML itself, rather than the Flash file.

You also have nest an <embed> tag inside the <object> tag to cover all browsers.

Maybe you can post the HTML code you are useing for the flash movie and we will have a look.
