Sounds and mouseovers

Is it possible to make a text mouseover play sound?

A new site that I'm making is designed exclusively for IE users, so compatibility isn't a problem...

Several sites that I've seen have used Flash in order to get sounds when holding a mouse over a link. However, not being familiar with Flash, I was hoping it would be possible to do this with HTML.

Anyone got any ideas?

If a sound mouseover isn't possible, is it possible to get a sound to play a single time upon entry to the site? I have a 15 second long WAV file, which I would like to play when viewers first see the site, and then another 1 second long one for the links. Loading time is not an issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ack, I just found out how to put the sound in as a background, to play once upon an entry, so don't worry about that.

But the mouseovers are still a problem, if anyone has a solution.
