Hi,

This question may have an obvious answer, but i cannot seem to get it to work properly. How do i setup an eps so that it can be downloaded from the web?

I have saved certain images as .eps files and uploaded them. I have then linked to them via my web page. This starts the download process as it should. However, my computer then automatically opens the images as a PDF, which is not what i want.

Can anyone help?

Sounds like you have Acrobat associated with .eps files. Typically you would open .eps with Illustrator or another Vector based program. I forget how to associate file extensions with programs, anyone else?

Also, you can download any file WITHOUT opening it in a program -- use a right click, then choose "save file as" or "save target as" depending on your browser.

This depends on your browser (settings). You could either change the application for the associated MIME/file type, or tell your customers to right-click the file and use "save as", or even zip the file (using WinZIP or the like, this should make a HUGE difference on the file size) and tell them how to unzip it.
