Displaying spreadsheet data in framed page.

Width and printing problems when displaying a report.

I have this webpage that has currently 3 frames, a small one on top, one on the left and a main frame where content is displayed.

The main frame is where a report is being displayed. Unfortunately, the report is quite long and wide (Previously was an excel spreadsheet)

I have 2 problems:
1. Making the report able to "freeze frames" like in Excel (Do i have to add another frame onto the page?)

2. Printing of the report is a problem..

Can anyone suggest any approach to help with these 2 problems.. Would really appreciate any help.

Thanks! :)

Popout to a no frames page is quick and easy.

Hello limseebing, we're glad to have you join us here at Webmaster World!

Are you simply redisplaying data that once resided in a spreadsheet? Or are you loading from a dynamic database?

Hi Papabaer,

Actually, redesign is not really an option since what is displayed is actually a list of names and editable data for each staff. Significant amt of time has already been spent redesigning the page and the users are not accepting further changes to the layout..

sigh.. :(

Thank you Fathom for your suggestion to have the printer friendly page on a pop-up page. I had thought that it was the best option as well. :)

Cheers.
