Hi,

I finished my size only to find when you change the text size in the browsers view menu, my site gets really distorted. I have managed to over ride ie by setting a css text size but mozilla ignores it.

Is there any way to avoid this or do you have to design with this in mind?

Thanks

you should keep that in mind when designing your site. if a user wants to up the font in their browser or Operating system you can't do anything about it. Thats a end-user experience, and although you should keep it in mind, its not realistic to expect site developers to anticipate users bumping up the font size and accomidating them. if that was the case noone would finish a site on time!

Thanks Ox,

I wonder what the stats are of people who use the non standard text size.

Cheers

Mainly because most people never bothered to learn how although I can think of several professional IT people with poor eyesight who do adjust the font sizes when browsing.
