I'm trying to install Netscape 4 on my Windows XP box to test my website with it.

I downloaded a copy (32bit) from [browsers.evolt.org...]
and from [browser.netscape.com...]

but when I try to install it I get that error:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

Any idea why?

The only reference I've found is this:

[support.microsoft.com...]

Are you sure you've got the 32-bit version and not an earlier 16-bit version?

Yes, I'm sure. That's why it's weird!

I think about providing an alternate stylesheet for old browsers and I need to test it..
