How do you get "_blank" target windows to be fullsized?

I have the link: <a href="http://www.mysite.com" target="_blank">test</a>, but when I click it in IE it opens in only a half sized window. How do I get it to open in a full sized window?

IE opens a window of the last size the visitor's (non-full screen) browser window was set to - you can only control the size of newly opened windows using javascript.
