The Flash ticker will display how many days left for the email recipients to respond to the offer.
1. Pro and cons on Flash ticker on HTML emails?
2. Is there any way I can write a script for the Flash ticker like I said above?
To be very in details: Let's say the offer will end on Feb. 28.
The email recipients open their email on Feb. 21, then on the email (Flash ticker part) would say that 7 days left to respond to the offer.
And if they open the email on Feb. 27, then on the email would say that 1 day left to respond to the offer.
Any suggestions would be really appreciated.
In terms of the flash actionscript / serverside , that will be possible ...
But I think you will have more problems with email clients themselves ....
As much as I love flash .. when sending out emails or newsletters I tend to keep it down to the barebones html .. they all render very differently...
Also it depends on your customer base ... novices and indeed many techies tend to have html switched off ...
That's the negative points .. ;)
on the positive, there's something about that I like and I know that's possible, just not quite sure of the best way to do it just yet...
