Setting default value of input file

Does anyone know how to set the default value of a <input type='file'> element?

I thought it would be something like this:

<input name='image' type='file' size='20' value='Default value' />

Sorry it took so long to reply to your question Harvs: the button generated by

input type="file"

is dependent on the browser and underlying OS - for example it shows "Browse..." in my Firefox, but the language of the text changes when I use IE on my work machine (which is in French). Other than using ActiveX in IE (which is not recommended), you cannot change the value.
