Usually when I post a site in Dreamweaver it only takes a few moments and only posts the pages I've actually altered. Now it tells me that the copy on the remote server is newer, do I want to continue, and then posts the whole lot taking a hell of a lot of time. Nobody else works on the site and I don't think I've changed any settings so I don't have a clue whats happened?

Before looking deeper, is the date correct on your computer and on the server?

definitely on mine. Will have to check on the server.

I get that often. I've checked the clock on my computer, and had my hosting company check the time on the server. Both are correct.

I don't know what causes it, but I just hit the "no to all" button.

I'll be interested to see if someone has a better solution.

I've been hitting yes to all. I don't suppose that causes a problem other than having to wait for it all to post?

It shouldn't cause a problem, but it will definitely slow you down. I just always hit "no to all."
