Hello,

Can you please provide me some articles, suggestions, tutorials or examples how to build towers on my website?

I want them placed to the right side of a page from the website.

Best Regards, Aneta

Towers?

Not at all sure what you mean - can you expand a little?

What do you mean by towers? Just sidebars, or maybe "skyscraper" banners, something else?

Are you designing your site in plain text HTML, or do you use a WYSIWYG webpage editor? Also, do you know if your site is using tables or CSS for layout? And, what kind of advertising content do you plan on using in these sidebar columns? Text ads? Image or flash-based ads? Google AdSense?

Something like this?

This in your header:

.sidebar {float:right; width:120px; height:600px; margin:1em;}

And this in your body:

<div class="sidebar">

....

</div>

I am using plain HTML and I have CSS.
I will be putting text and images together.
I need recommendations which articles or examples to use,how to arrange them to look nice and proffesional. With html and css I can deal, the design is the problem, how to represent is the problem. I have no ideas how to make it look nice on the website.

In that case, I think the best thing to do is to just spend some time looking around at other sites to get ideas. It's pretty hard to think of ideas that might look good without actually seeing your site. When you get right down to it, the ways to implement sidebars are pretty limited anyway - the basic decisions are what widths to use, if you want a background color or image, borders, and, of course, content. It sounds like you have the content worked out pretty well, so all you really need to figure out is the other three factors. Look around and see what you like, then play around with it a bit. It shouldn't be too hard to come up with something good.

The problem is that I do not know how to search for websites using such advertising.
That's why I asked for help here if someone can give me examples of work to check them.

Oh, I see. In that case, I'm afraid you're out of luck as far as specific recommendations are concerned, since the TOS of this board doesn't allow that kind of link posting for the most part. Try visiting a lot of news sites - they're pretty efficient at using ad space and I'm sure you'll be able to get some ideas that way.

I would recommend searching for Premiership Football Clubs as these tend to have a lot of advertising.

All the best.
