As the subject and description say - I have the Google toolbar installed on my IE6, W2K SP4. When I right-click a toolbar to show or hide other toolbars, the menu selection for the Google toolbar is there but there's no label; no text beside the checkmark to show/hide the toolbar.

It's a small thing but annoying. Is there any kind of fix for this?

Thanks,

Matthew

P.S. The text/label for the Google toolbar is missing even from View > Toolbars, although the menu selection is still technically there.

These dodgy scumware toolbars tend to be a bit buggy. ;)

You've probably been auto-updated to the latest version - it you are worried, you could always send a bug-report to Google, but otherwise wait for another update - or even better: just uninstall the thing!

Hey, it's IE. It's meant to be a spyware-carrier, isn't it? ;) Actually, I don't particularly care what I install on IE since I almost never use it as a browser. I even have the Alexa toolbar... (but none that have just shown up without my knowledge - I do know better than that! ;) )

But the missing label was still missing even before the toolbar update. I guess it doesn't really matter; I'll just remember that the blank space is for the Google toolbar and leave it at that! ;)
