when i create a submit button with french language, some characters with diacritic marks such as à.. but it won't display the vowels with diacritic marks, while displaying à. How to fix it?

Make sure that the spelling of à is correct, specially the & at the beginning and that there is a ; at the end.

Does the problem occur on all or just some browsers?
Does it depend on the charset value specified in the <head>?
