Does anyone know if the right click protection javascripts will keep a site from getting a top position on the SERP's?
I'm going to link the JS outside the HTML document.
Thanks

Should have no effect, afaik. Spiders do not actually RUN javascript.

Thanks Tedster,
I wasn't sure if it would be a factor or not.
BTW, I enjoyed your presentation at the WebmasterWorld Conference on Writing for the Search Engines.

Thanks. We definitely missed having Heather on that panel, but I'm glad to know we delivered something of value.

suntzu, right-clicking has many valid uses and does little to prevent theft of anything; it has a much greater power to annoy your visitors. This has been discussed many times over the years, but here's the first two discussions I found on the topic in case you haven't seen some of them: here [webmasterworld.com] and here [webmasterworld.com].
