Browser Printing versus Site Print Options

Looking for stats on people using broswer print functions vs. other options

Has anyone seen any studies that determine how many people print web pages using their browser (control-p, file>print, etc.) versus the print solution offered by the website itself (printer friendly-version, etc.).

My instincts tell me that most people use their browser to print, ignoring other devises websites have come up with like printer-friendly versions, etc. Unfortunately, I'm not sure there is a way to track how many people print from their browser.

If you use a print CSS you could track the number of HTTP requests for the print CSS file.
