overlay 1 image over another

I only have access to open source website building tools eg. NVu and HTMLtoolkit. I am currently have a big image and I want to overlay a number of "button" images on certain parts of it. However, I can't find out how to overlay 1 image over another. Help! Can someone point me to a tutorial perhaps for this kind of thing.

CSS Positioning sounds like the solution for you! You can use <div>s to position the buttons where you want them.
