This is an interesting development, especially if web browsing become more prolific from mobile devices. At the moment it is quite low (I have an XDA II and very rarely browse with it).
Will it impact how we build our pages? I don't think so, but we will start seeing more user-agent sniffing and pages being tailored towards small screens (CSS maybe - server logic initially).
