Embedding html into e-mail

Forgive my ignorance.... as a newbie I would like to learn how to embed html into e-mails...especially newsletter type applications....any tips and guidance would be greatly appreciated.... thanks in advance

the newsletters are made like web pages only ,having tables which are used for layout and placing contents.
if you know how to make html pages you can just do it in few minutes

if you use outlook express you can see there is one option in new email you write to view and edit source where you can place html code
