The most accessible way to do this is to make an all text version to be sent out as e-mail. Don't fool yourself into thinking that everyone wants to see all the graphics and layout in an e-mail newsletter. If you want to have a fancy formatted version include a download link to the PDF version. You could also make a webpage and link to that as well.
Thanks for your reply. We're thinking of going the route of creating the webpage, but I must admit, I'm a bit puzzled about how much work this involves.
If I created the newsletter as a webpage and emailed it, I could imagine it being an email containing a headline and very small pic for each story, with a link to the full length story.
1. Would the full stories be on one page, or on several? (There are about 8 stories in one newsletter.)
2. Would the pages containing the full story be uploaded to my website?
I definitely agree with linking to a PDF as well.
I suggest you step back and say "what is the best way we can communicate effectively with our customers via email?" I doubt that converting your existing four page newsletter into an email is the answer you will come up with.
