Hi,

I'm wondering why on one particular computer, any links that have the target attribute will not open properly.

What happens is that the new window opens up, but remains blank.

For example on a site with PayPal, clicking Add to Cart opens up the new window. Yet nothing appears in the new window.

Any ideas?

Thanks

There's your clue that it's probably not your html. How about Firewall settings, or other installed security programs that may be peculiar just to that machine? Can you install a second browser on the problem computer and see how it performs?

Thanks for the reply tedster.

I know the problem is specific to computer and that there is no problem with the html because the Add to Cart button for PayPal was code generated by PayPal, as well I always use target="_blank" and it works on most computers.

Anyway, if that is the only solution, to try a different browser then I can let them know. Thanks!

Anyone else heard of this problem?

Thanks

I have to agree with tedster on this one. I would definitely download at least one other browser and see what happens when the new page loads. I ran into that problem with IE after I upgraded Windows to Service Pack 2. I tried Mozilla and had no problems what-so-ever.

Could be a browser issue or a security setting in your operating system.
