commenting xhtml

hi all,
i was reading my xhtml book last night, and it said in one chapter to comment code using <!@hy ---- @hy> (which ive never seen before) and then in another chapter it says to use <!-- ------ -->.
which one should i use? is there a differnce?

i tend to use the
<!-- comments in here -->

works for me..
like you i have never seen the @hy thing
