CSS Layout - Doesn't Display On A Mac

We have developed the following website using a CSS layout:

<SNIP>

The site displays perfectly in IE on a PC and passes the W3 HTML & CSS validators but it is allover the place when you view it in IE on a Mac.

There is an image map in the top navigation of all pages, that is not displaying on a Mac but commenting this out makes no difference to the way the rest of the site displays on a Mac.

Can anyone offer any suggestions of what to look for and check and how I can start to put it right?

Thanks in advance,

Stuart

Try using a full DOCTYPE declaration (with a URL included).

and you're not allowed to post URLs here according to the TOS [webmasterworld.com] ;)

IE5 Mac is actually stricter than IE5 Win with regards to the standards but there are plenty of holes in the compliance in only a way MS can provide.

Check out [macedition.com...] as it lists common IE5 Mac CSS bugs and should steer you the right way.
