dh ranking

how 2 improve ranking in dh

im listed #1 for my 2nd most important keyword,but for the most important"clonecd"im nowhere.i want to improve this-ive just been listed in odp for clonecd at no1-will this help improve askjeeves and directhit ranking.it took ages for dmoz listing.im in about and yahoo and looksmart.how often does dh update?

Hi,

Being ranked in the ODP as number 1 will infulence your DH ranking which should in turn influence you Ask ranking as they are connected like so:

OPD --powers results for--> DH --powers results for--> Ask

I'd wait about 10 weeks for all three engines to update before you panic that you ranking hasn't improved.

yeah i get 1000's of hits a day from yahoo and google.i know from my 2nd keyword hits with yahoo and google that dh hits are poor by comparison-maybe 1/15 at best.alta vista gives me about 1/10 for similiar keyword rank-im thinking ask jeeves traffic might be good-so thats what im really after.
