I got a strange visit from 193.95.154.*:

First it read robots.txt with UA "lwp-trivial/1.38",
then it took the main page and two stylesheets with UA
"Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.2; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)".
All requests were HTTP/1.0.

One stylesheet is a special MSIE-stylesheet, pointed to by a conditional-comment ([if IE]) in main page. So this bot seems to be a real MSIE.

The other stylesheet contains an import-rule, but that import-file wasn't accessed?! So this bot isn't a real MSIE 6.

Time delays are strange, too:
robots.txt at 19:11:06
main page at 19:12:08
two css files at 19:12:52

IP belongs to:
Ask Jeeves UK
Dublin, Ireland

Is it a new test bot from AskJeeves?

I first saw a hit from them at [25/Aug/2005:19:35:34 +1200] on an image that is hotlinked to (with my permision) on quite a few sites.
When it does request a hotlinked image it doesn't request robots.txt first, however it does before requesting an .htm page.
Yes, i see the delays between the main page and the items included as well
robots.txt 11:57:52
page.htm 11:58:15
image1.gif 11:58:26
image2.gif 11:58:37
image3.gif 11:58:38
image4.gif 11:58:43
which is a lot more bot like behaviour than an actual browser.
Also in August it didn't request JavaScript files, however this month it also requesting an included JavaScript file in a .htm page.
However I've also seen it request a .php file this month and not ask for any of the images or JavaScript.
So very interesting behaviour characteristics.
