Ask Jeeves is adding a new search tool to let people compare prices on products without leaving the search site, in partnership with comparative shopping site Kelkoo.

Good to see Yahoo letting Kelkoo get on with it - it'll be interesting to see how this rolls out.

Sooo - if Ask indentifies a shopping related search you will be given a Kelkoo (Ask branded) search result page? - With no natural serps?

Cant see a problem with it being offered as an alternative - but that is not how that article read.

Will obviously have to wait and see how this is integrated but cant see this as being a good move for all the independent shops who dont list on Kelkoo.....

They have already been doing this for Ask.com using PriceGrabber.com since last year.

Kelkoo will only be on Ask.co.uk

Yep - just checked Ask.com.

If it is offered as an additional tab like Ask.com then I cant see any problem.
