Ask Jeeves Inc. plans to announce Wednesday that it has acquired the assets of Tukaroo Inc., a closely-held San Jose, Calif. startup developing specialized search software....

The acquisition is significant because it gives Ask Jeeves technology to allow consumers to quickly search for e-mails and files on their computers' hard drives.

They probably just folded it into their search results, causing the site to naturally disappear.
