Anyone knows what is the index update frequency at Ask these days?
My site was spidered 2 months ago. It has not been included in the index yet.

Ask update their db in sections, and have doing this for a while. Patience with their processes is all you can have.

When either i take on a new project, though with an existing site, i take into account, that after G and ATW, teoma and Ink will take upto 6 months to drop orphans, and go for the new pages.

I am assuming that you have gone the Free-bie inclusion route, rather than PFI via one of AJ's partners. If you have gone PFI, then get onto them their SLA agreement for inclusion assuming the site and its content ain't set off filter triggers that block, should be around a week max.

Though once again, if its the free route, then don't stress - patience!

EXACT same experience here. The ask jeeves/teoma bot heavily spidered my site in the previous month or two and I'm not in the index either. All in good time I guess.

I submitted 2 sites to Ask Jeeves/Teoma through paid inclusion back around Feb 7, and my sites are still listed as 'URL Being Processed'. They had mentioned on their site & in my order confirmation

"As indicated on our website, we would like to confirm that the Ask Jeeves/Teoma index is currently in the process of performing a reporting systems upgrade. The resulting improvements will enable us to provide you with a more streamlined and efficient service.

The upgrade means that your initial URL inclusion will occur in the last week of February. This means your initial inclusion will be slightly delayed, however you will receive the full 12 month subscription period from the date of the initial indexing. You will receive a confirmation email once your URL(s) have been successfully indexed.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause."

so, we should see some activity soon.

Ask Jeeves have completed their upgrade and URLs that have been submitted are currently being processed.
