News story at CBS MarketWatch [cbs.marketwatch.com] quotes Barrons as saying that AJ is overpriced, although there may be a buyers premium if someone steps up.

Barrons mentioned MS, but also Interactive Corp, Barry Diller's company. Interactive Corporation owns Expedia, Ticketmaster, The Home Shopping Network, Lending Tree, Hotels.com, CitySearch, Evite, and Match.com- whew!

Diller was recently asking for a leg up in Google's serps (couldn't we all use a nudge?), so Search is definitely on this guy's mind, especially the PPC.

What do you think? A good match? Does Barrons know something we don't know?

I think this would be a very interesting match.

There's also a short interview with Barry over at AdAge.com [adage.com].

2.3% of the search market -> i would love to know where these figures come from!

Potential buyers being Microsoft and InterActiveCorp - well see. I can't see why MS would want to pick up AJ, when they are making moves to drop in their new engine!
