No Good position.

Just to find out why my site is not doing well in ASK.
I have submitted my site to ASK 4 months ago.(pay inclusion)
It is having good position for all the key words that I am targetting, but except for the main keyword.
After submitting and re-submitting paying more money my site is not at all appearing in any position for the main key word.
Anybody has got any clue how to get into it.

I can't really comment on the ranking used by ask or teoma but if you just wait long enough and get some good links you should get a lot of your pages indexed for free. As far as getting them ranked well some might say your time is best spent else where. Good luck

You can contact Ask directly and get listed for the "I have an answer for you" type thing (which works well). Works on a cost per click basis. Don't know if there is a minimum spend.

PFI is not a sure fire way to the top, you still have to opto your site, and may find that it is not geared towards this very competitive term.

Have a look at the SERPs that are occupying the top slots, and then analyse their page/site structure, kw density, and other on page/site specifics, then have a look at the off page stuff, links from other related sites, directories, vortals and portals etc.
