It seems much cleaner than before. But I was kinda getting used to the tabs.

There is also and added feature. Now you can search for images. I did image searches before, but it was on the ask.co.uk site.

Overall, it's different. They seem to be preparing a section, area in the center, for specialized advertising; you know, the huge room between the form and the satelite links at the bottom rows. Well, that's what I perceive that space it going to be used for.

Anyway, I'd like to see teoma provide three result to images and news. That would be a wonderful feature if teoma provides it.

Imagine three image result to Pamela Anderson j/k. (She's a little old now. Imagine having access to "expert link" to Selma. Kewl!)

a search on "loans" reveals:

1 big Graphic Advert.
10 Sponsored Listings.

.........

and then the web results.

talk about milking the cow dry.

Bad news. The front page does not even display right in Safari browser. The "Ask" search button on the search form does not work for me either, I have to use a Return to make a search.

SERP's:
1. Honking big banner ad that has nothing to do with my search.
2. one Featured Sponsor listing
3. four Sponsored Web Results

Then we get to actual web results well below the fold. Terrible.

None of the Sponsored listings pertained to my search.

IMO Ask has completely lost it. I would not use it. I'll bet my traffic goes down from them too. What a shame.

I wonder, for those who gets traffic from jeeves, if anyone is suffering from this new update?

...they definitely need to trim down on advertisement. I mean, it's not like the users are going to click all of them or read all of the ad.

it's a definite turnoff if I were a jeeves user.

they should limit the google ad to a max of three... or four.
