Teoma's branding [split from thread]

I am not obsessed with big branding but Teoma might be wise to change their logo - its horrible.

The more I look at it, the more dislike it.

IMO

sorry - not a very useful contribution. just had to say it.

I split this from the 'Breaking News' thread because I had much the same thought, not just about the logo, but the name as well... 'Teoma' sounds like a truck on the TV ads.

Teoma, before you start trying to get JohnQ to find you, we hereby suggest that you take a hard look at the lessons of 'AlltheWeb' and 'NorthernLight' and then look a Wisenut, Google, Yahoo, even AltaVista. You are going to be fighting an uphill battle if you market this under a truck name that no one can remember, or spell if they do happen to remember it.

Good call stavs and rcjordan. It appears as though the silly names are best. Something original. And yes, the logo needs some work, IMHO. Hmmm, how about "TomaToma" They could use a tiki guy with a grass skirt :)
