......or has soemthing like this been around for a while? I heard that in addition to the straight paid inclusion program (ineedhits thing) there might be a pay per click program similar to that of Inktomi or AV coming out. (XML feed, PPC, large sites only)

....haven't been able to find anything on the net about it though.

Just found it [ecommercetimes.com] It's been out for a couple months. Ask doesn't seem to promote it though.

There are also many more resellers than the one mentioned in the headline of that article. :)

If you do a couple of searches for ask jeeves CPC or similar on their engine, or Google (lol) I'm sure you can find the names of the other companies.
