What's the latest you can find a Teoma spider in your logs?

Just did a quick scan of my logs. Week of 9/13/2001 was the last visit.

Seen a lot of spidering from ask.com in the last few weeks, if that helps.

I am surprised that this is the first time that I have seen this mentioned. I have also been battered by something from ask.com recently. It has been taking the same page twice in most visits.

Brett: That's what you'd think.

Seen a whole lot of ask, especially with the referral string, and this was new (at least to me)

Anybody later than September?

If teoma is as stale as september, Jeeves should stick with the DH results.

This is my opinion.
ASK spidered the web, the spider where called ASK but it was TEOMA technology.
The update we have seen on ASK.com is really and update from TEOMA, many people have reported a lost of pages on DH, and i am wondering if ASK is still going to use DH ?

I think I I'm going to agree with you lb.

Laziness, I didn't check what was on DH (Jeeves), and I now realize that that stuff looks like Teoma (which only took 3 pages from my site).

But ask.com has been spidering lately, but none of the pages that it has grabbed are in jeeves (ask.com). (YET)

Took me a while to get into DH, Jeeves was #1 source, and now it seems to be gone.

Has the switch been flipped to teoma?

Well the ASK.com db is updated and i guess that the ask spider is really the TEOMA spider.
