The results, below the paid for overture results, are the same as Direct Hit, further verification, is that my site listed extremely well in Teoma, now it is not there at all, as in DH.
Possibles.
1. Just a temporary clitch ?
2. Could it be that the slight re-index we seen a couple of weeks ago, was actually a precursor to a major re-index ?
3. A complete switch of the index from Direct Hit. Re-badge
What do you guys see ?
can't see them anymore, just remember who were topping the serps for certain k-terms, direct hit had quircky results, hence when i seen teoma's serps today, alarm bells went off.
direct hit is know the commercial search solution for Ask Jeeves corporate customers. Teoma is Ask Jeeves publicly searchable internet search engine
Angiolo, don't know about hotbot showing DH results, always thought it was ink, and lycos, though i remember when they used to display most popular DH listings.
Alarm over, back in, weird. definetly a clitch, not only was the site in question out. The site at number one was so not relevant, it was scary.
we must be getting different return pages.
Checked the lycos hotbot, that you posted above, and i got this for a search term !

The interview is worth a read, with Berkovitz also talking about the number of PFI listings in Teoma, the deviding the web into communities etc.
