Optimizing for Teoma.

I am in a fix with Teoma.

I am new into SEO and I want my page to be optimized according to Teoma. Can anybody tell me how teoma ranks web site. If I pay for my URL inclusion (I am allready listed), wich offcourse I dont want to do.........can I come up to the top.

What should be the statergy I should follow to improve my rank in Teoma.

And How frequently Teoma updat their database ?

Please help.

Frequency of Teoma update, has not been determined as of yet, some of us thought there was a partial re-indexing of the database a couple of weeks ago.
