1)PT refuted my claim
2)PT ackowledged my clain after persistance and proof and responed with - Inktomi is currently having a problem with a few customers URL's in the program displaying the Looksmart title and description. They are working on getting this corrected as soon as possible. That's an understatment
3)INK fixed the listing
4)INK drops the listing to never-never land
5)INK now reflects the L$ listing again
6)INK now reflects an additional page from our site that was never submited (found only in "PURE SEARCH")
7)The only listing to show anywhere now is the single L$ listing.
Basically, we're screwed..
By the way, does anybody know how keywords are associated with INK listings. The only keyword picking up for INK is a mis-spelling, imagine that.
:(
Although Ink has been using the L$ title/desc for my url, Ink is still reading the keywords in my metatag and in the text body. I can tell because Verisign-Network Solutions (the reseller that I purchased Ink from) lets you look at traffic reports. I can see all the keywords that people are searching on.
By the way, I got the same BS about it being a bug in the Ink program and that they were "working on it" but yesterday a L$ support tech told me this was happening because of their "parntership" and not because of a bug.
L$ is getting on my last nerve.
:(
<snip>sorry, no email quotes without the sender's consent, please paraphrase what was said - sw</snip>
I need to get to the bottom of this and find out why, if you pay Inktomi for inclusion AND you have paid for a L$ listing as well that Ink takes your money and runs without regard for their "refresh policies".

I have Position Tech and I emailed them this week to ask them
why my page was still showing LS information and this was their response:

Linda,
Inktomi is displaying the Looksmart discription for a limited number of URLs within the Search/Submit program. Inktomi is aware of this issue and they are working to resolve it. We are hoping that this is resolved in the next weeks.
