The OS X version is terrible. Constant crashes, really poor load times (in excess of 5 seconds in comparison with Safari's half a second) and general buggyness. I don't know why they even bother with OS X support if it's going to be this bad.

That stinks. You sure you don't have some sort of software conflict? I am still using 0.9.3 for Jaguar and Panther. 0.9.3 seems to be buggier than 0.9.1 was. You might want to try repairing permissions, and running maintenance scripts (MacJanitor) and see if you still have problems?

Dose the FF 1.0 PR have better default tab browsing yet? I wish that FF matched Safari's tab settings, like easily allowing you to open links in new tabs instead of clunky new windows. Safari makes it so easy, while FF relies on extensions or other installations.

Anyone notice better defult tab options?

I like the PR ext on the bootom right. It now has Google directory listings if the site has one. Very nice.

I've been enjoying FireFox on Mac OS X. I've had about a crash a week, which is more than Safari, but I can live with that.

Firefox seems to render pages similarly in Windows/Linux/Mac, which is a boon to a Mac surfer.

on my PC (Windows 2000 Professional) it is brilliant. Been running it, and previous version for a month - not a single crash, not even a blip!
A month ago I loaded up both Firefox and Thunderbird, and haven't turned on Outlook or IE since.

I like it. I just saw the navigation bar turns yellow, when you are on a SSL-encrypted site. Better than this tiny little lock in the statusline one never noticed anyway..

I downloaded Firefox this morning. One problem I've encountered is that the Flash plugin isn't working. It's not giving any errors, it just shows as a white area on the screen.
