Hide feed code

Hi,

New at this forum, I will go for the introduce thread l8, now I need your help. I have a video feed that I do not want to be shown when one does the "view source" thing, I am afraid people will steal the code and just insert the video feed on their site. How can I hide just this 4 line of code?

There is no way to completely hide it but you could obfuscate it [google.com].

Thank you for the answer. Isnt there certain program that works on the other way as well? I guess, like if you have the code you could easily transform it to the original?

If it is displayed in the browser, then it is impossible to completely hide the code. You can obfuscate it, but there will always be a way for a determined person to de-obfuscate it.

If you are just worried about somebody hot-linking to your video feed, you could use .htaccess to protect the feed, so that it will only be accessible from a link on your website. See [webmasterworld.com...]
