Cloaking URLs Only

Ok, I have a website that has all dynamic jsp created pages with urls that include several parameters.

Shop/Control/Product/fp/vpid/1523916/vpcsid/0/SFV/6757

Certain features of the website cannot be displayed without the parameters and the search engines hate these URLs.

I've managed to set it up so when search engines hit the site it redirects them to the exact same page content (minus the features that it doesn't support) with much better URLs.

/Singer-Sewing_Machines-Singer_XL-150_Quantum_Sewing_and_Embroidery_Machine.html

Will search engines hate this? Will they ban me? As I mentioned the content is 99% the same.

My feeling is that you'll be OK with this technique.
