i have a cloaked site and have used some black hat techniques and i was wondering how long before a bot crawls thru my site? i've waited almost a week?

It's the same as any other site: unpredictable. If you include a couple of links from off-site on pages that are already indexed, chances are you'll be spidered sooner.

Cloaking does not help you rank. All cloaking does is let you show differnt content to the spider than you do people. Cloaking is not a ranking tool it is to help conversions once people get there. If you don't care what people see cloaking is not something you should be doing. Like it has already been said Google does not know you are cloaking hopefully so it will be treated like the other content does not exist. Get some links. Also remember there is a sandbox.
