I'm new to this board and this forum so, hi, I'm Rischen.
Also, I'm very new to web design and ecommerce and all so I have a question.
If you simply create a keyword rich page within your site with a refresh forwarder that points with a refresh of "0 to your index page will that work or will it be picked up by the search engines? I'm seeing a lot about shadow domains and all and was wondering if simply forwarding a visitor from a page that you create within your site to your index page will also work.

While it will "work", you might be penalized by the search engines for using a meta refresh tag.
Also, people visiting your website will be aware something is happening when the URL of the page they are visiting suddenly changes and they are redirected.
Since there are ways to disable this type of redirection, it isn't a foolproof way to hide your optimized HTML either.
