Hi
I originally posted this on the general sem board but was told it was to do with cloaking and to post it here, so here goes ...

I want to text two different versions of web copy. To do this we will use a script that displays Page A to visitor 1, Page B to visitor 2, Page A to visitor 3 and so on.
Will this mess with the site's search engine ranking?

Thanks, Tony

It has the potential to. A search engine would get one copy and index the page according to the text it was served.

If it visited again and found different text, or if it found different text every time, flags might be raised.
