If you are cloaking on your blackhat domains, would you recommend using an alternative ISP to your whitehat ISP? I am wondering if there is anyway for Google etc. to find you cloaking on one domain, then ban your whitehat domains also.
Any comments?
Jon
Domain 2 (the "blackhat" domain) is located on a different server than Domain 1 (the "whitehat" domain). Domain 2 and Domain 1 are hosted IP addresses in different Class C Subnets.
Domain 2's whois info (administrative, billing and technical contacts) are completely different from Domain 1's. This can be done using DBAs, post office boxes, relatives, etc.
Domain 1 and Domain 2 do not cross-link.
I presume the IP address of your ISP doesn't even come into it because a Google spider has no connection with that? Just so fearful that they might trace all my sites by my ISP IP address. I know it doesn't sound logical but I wonder if my lack of knowledge in the area means I am missing something.
What are DBA's?
A DBA is an acronym for "doing business as". It's a fictitious name statement, usually filed with the county clerk of the county where you do business. When a sole proprietor wishes to do business under a different name, he files a DBA (aka fictitious name statement). So if I wanted to start a business under the name "Dan's Plumbing", I could file a DBA under "Dan's Plumbing".

Right.
